The ‘r kids Family Center in New Haven is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that works tirelessly, along with state agencies, to reunify children with their birth parents and assist foster and adoptive children in the transition to loving, nurturing and safe homes.
Helping children grow up in safe, permanent homes is incredibly rewarding. We need your help and invite you to make a difference in the lives of children and families.
Most of us did not come of age in a shroud of loneliness. How hard it must be to grow up without a place to call home, or an adult who is always there, or your grandmother’s cookies. But there are tender souls among us for whom such experiences have never been known.
Together, we can help these children and their families start over and rebuild a healthy, nurturing and secure home environment.

Donations may also include: new toys, books, infants’/children’s/adults’ new clothing, bed linens, and small housewares. Office and school supplies are always welcome. (We regret we cannot accept items from a smoker’s home due to allergic sensitivities of our families.)
